This podcast answered a lot of my questions about Emotional Support Animals (Vs Therapy animals vs Service animals) including limitations, regulations and assessment.

I think ESA Letters are HIGHLY abused in my area and I hope this information gets out so that those that NEED ESAs can get what they need without the stigma that is growing from the abuse.

Ariel Landrum, LMFT, shares critical knowledge about Emotional Support Animals and the process of assessment and letter-writing, including discussion about s...

Some of the language that we use in everyday life can really undermine the significant impact of those struggling with various mental diagnoses.

Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a shortened masters degree for people who who are already counselors/social workers? If so, where? If not, why not? (I'm thinking, let them skip the psych classes but be required to do the art therapy classes, clinical internships and thesis etc)
The reason I ask is because all of these "Art Therapy Certificate" programs online are tricking people into thinking that's all you need to become an art therapist. They rarely, if ever, are run but actual ATRs or ATR-BCs. What's stopping someone who is already a therapist from advertising that they are an art therapist because of these certificates? (I know people do this already anyway) I recently worked at a place who would gladly hire an "art therapist" who didn't have a masters degree because they could pay them less.
