✨Witch or Wizard Wednesday at St. Joseph Village! 💫

Residents and associates embraced their inner magic as we explored the Salem Witch Trials through an engaging presentation led by our Director of Life Enrichment Shiquita, followed by a fun look at some of our favorite friendly witches from TV and movies.

To top it off, we brewed up our own Magic Potions and watched the first season of Bewitched, a beloved classic from the 1960s! 🧪✨ Associates joined the fun by dressing as witches and wizards, bringing laughter, creativity, and community spirit to this enchanting day.

💜🖤 Twilight Tuesday: Vampires vs. Werewolves! 🧛‍♂️🐺
Halloweek fun continued as our residents joined in for a spooky and exciting day! Our Lead Life Enrichment Assistant, Samantha, gave a great presentation about the world of vampires and werewolves, while our Dining Services Director and Assistant served up delicious virgin Bloody Marys to top off the theme! 🍅🩸

It was a howling good time filled with laughter, learning, and smiles all around! 😄✨

🎃 Halloweek kicked off with Monster Monday!

Our residents learned all about the Mad Scientist and his Monster, then joined in on the spooky fun with our associates who dressed up as their favorite monsters and brought the laughter! From creepy costumes to contagious smiles, it was a frightfully fun start to the week! 💜🧡

🍏 National Apple Day Celebration! 🍎

We celebrated National Apple Day at St. Joseph Village of Chicago! 🎨 Residents drew and painted their own apples on canvas, then enjoyed a sweet Apple Dipping Bar with caramel, chocolate, and nuts. 🍫🥜

It was a day filled with creativity, laughter, and the spirit of fall! ❤️

Last week at St. Joseph Village of Chicago, our associates, residents, families, and friends came together to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

We shared helpful information about early detection and self-checks, along with heartfelt poems, inspirational stories, cherished memories, and words of encouragement. Together, we celebrated strength, courage, and hope. 💕

🇵🇭✨ Celebrating National Filipino Heritage Month at St. Joseph Village of Chicago!

We began the morning with an inspiring presentation from Michael, our Director of Mission Integration and Pastoral Care, who shared a thoughtful program on Filipino American History, honoring the rich culture, faith, and contributions of the Filipino community.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with vibrant performances by the talented SamaSama Project filling our community with joyful music and cultural pride. 🎶

Residents and associates also enjoyed delicious pancit and lumpia, made by our chefs making it a day full of learning, laughter, and togetherness. ❤️🍜🥢
