Wow, what a fantastic day at the Beyond the Beach Party Chicago!
Despite the heat and some rain, over 400 people from the disability community, their families, and friends had an incredible time. We had a great spread of food, DJ music, bingo, hand cycling, and plenty of laughs. The waves canceled our Kayaking but not our spirits. It was so great to see so many first-time participants; it made us feel incredibly proud of what we’re doing.
A huge shoutout to all the volunteers, sponsors, donors, community leaders, and supporters who made this day possible.
We’re already planning for next year, so stay tuned for more exciting events!
