We are a 21st century new concept boutique, which combines massage therapy, art therapy, yoga, Body Remix with Alex and of course RETAIL THERAPY! By founders Leo and Alex: We want to bring you a little peace of mind, so when you walk into our boutique/healing space, whether it is for massage therapy, retail therapy, yoga, body remix, Pilates, art class, a jewelry making class, reformer class, or physical therapy our goal is that when you leave our doors, you are feeling better than when you walked in!

After nearly 11 years, L+A Healing Studio will be closing in the coming weeks.

This space has been filled with so much life—events, conversations, healing, and community. From Coffee Fest to the South Loop Indoor Farmers Market, to the everyday moments shared here… there are too many memories to name.

To everyone who has supported us from day one until today—thank you.
And to the South Loop community, thank you for welcoming us with open arms. I will never forget the kindness and love you’ve shown us.

Starting this week, we will be opening our doors for a going-out-of-business sale.

If you’ve ever loved something in this space, now is the time to come by.

Beginners welcome

Our co-owner Harumi will guide you through an hour of gentle, breath-focused yoga, inviting you to connect with slow down and reconnect.

We’re also thrilled to welcome the wonderful Katarina (can we tag her? her Instagram is katarina.here.and.now), who will lead a guided loving-kindness meditation—cultivating compassion for yourself, others, and all beings.

Katarina Bio

Katarina currently teachings yoga and provides meditation mentorship to the University of Chicago community where she is a graduate student in Buddhist Studies. Her scholarly studies have her steeped in Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan language, history, and lore.

In her previous career, she spent 12 years practicing clinically as a Zen Shiatsu therapist, instructing training courses for several years and teaching classes and workshops internationally.

She continues to call Chicago her home and serves as the President of UChicago Buddhist Association.

Our Community Yoga will help you strengthen and stretch your body while infusing it with vital life energy (prana). Taught in the tradition of the Sivananda Ashram lineage.

The session begins with breathing exercises (pranayama) and a Sun Salutation warm-up, followed by a series of slow postures (asanas)

The class concludes with a guided relaxation (savasana)

🌿 Suitable for all levels, including beginners🌿Matt rentals are available for $3
