Earlier this month, OCOM hosted the AOF Board of Directors and staff for their April Board meeting. We'd like to thank Dean Robert T. Hasty, DO, for his generosity and hospitality — and Associate Dean for Student Services, Mattie Bendall for the tour of their beautiful school! We also want to thank OCOM for nominating two incredible student doctors, Aishwarya Kalluri and Mariana Valdez for the 2024 and 2025 AOF Welch Scholarships, respectively. The Board was moved to tears as Student Doctors Kalluri and Valdez described their career journeys and what it meant for them to receive this scholarship. It was a truly memorable trip.

The Foundation is looking forward to hearing more student stories as we welcome all Osteopathic Colleges and Schools to nominate students for a variety of prestigious AOF awards.
