Congratulations to Oluwagbenga Dada, OMS-II, from Rocky Vista University COM-Southern Utah, who is the recipient of a 2025 AOF Osteopathic Research Incubator Grant for his work, "Reducing Fall Risk, Fear of Falling, and Loneliness in Older Adults Through Osteopathic Medical Student–Led Immersive VR Training." These grants fund proof of concept, pilot, or feasibility studies that advance Osteopathic medicine, and it is intended to help prepare early career investigators to eventually compete with more senior investigators for future research grants from other funders. The first of the AOF's fall scholarship recipients, Mahak Sharma, OMS-II, NYITCOM, is the 2025 AOF Prairie State Scholarship recipient. This scholarship was established through a gift from the Illinois Osteopathic Educational Foundation to provide financial assistance to an Osteopathic medical student who graduated from an Illinois high school to help reduce the cost of education.
