Those who attended “We Survived Live” were apart of something so transformative I can’t even begin to describe it!

Photos from Reimagining Recovery's post 10/23/2021

My dad is a pastor and he is one of the first to acknowledge his limitations as a pastor and of the church. God has no limitations and that’s why he put healers on this earth to help those struggling with mental health issues.

Because you seek out therapy doesn’t mean you lack faith, it means you’re acknowledging that you may need to add to your toolbox of coping strategies. Your relationship with God, the social and emotional support you receive from your faith community, along with the increase in self awareness and development of coping strategies you receive from therapy, can all coexist! 🙏🏽

Prince Harry filmed performing bizarre EMDR therapy during explosive interview

Prince Harry uses EMDR 🙌🏽. Fun fact . . . I am trained in EMDR. It is a transformative model of therapy that directly targets various forms of trauma. Its goal? To assist you in reprocessing thoughts and feelings associated with your particular trauma and replace them
with more adaptive ways of coping.

I encourage everyone to research this modality to see if it’s something you could potentially benefit from.

1. A Black Pastor was having a mental health crisis
2. A family member called an agency to request assistance
3. The agency sent over the police
4. The pastor was MURDERED by the officer within a couple min of arriving

This one hit different because my dad is a pastor 😞😢

I can’t imagine how the family is feeling. They thought they were doing the right thing by asking for assistance while he was having an episode. They will most likely live with the shame and guilt of this for the rest of their lives.

Why are police being sent over to deal with mental health issues?? Why not trained professionals? Why does this keep happening? I’m sick of this s**t!
