This month, we volunteered at the Mt. Pleasant Sports Physical event at Vestaburg Community School and at Old Town Christian Outreach in Saginaw.

Wrapping up an incredible year of leadership with a pizza party social 🍕 and celebrating our M4s with a few well-deserved gifts. So grateful for this team, the growth we’ve shared, and the impact we’ve made together.

Huge congrats to our three M4s on matching. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish in this next chapter:

Pranjal — matched Med-Peds at USF. A dedicated leader who always showed up for both patients and team members, bringing compassion and consistency (and great pizza making skills) to everything he did.

Judy — matched Family Med at Mount Sinai, New York. A constant source of positivity and support, offering a helping hand in all aspects of our organization.

Nikki — matched OBGYN at CMU (fire up!!). Her drive and commitment to growth brought our program to new levels and inspired those around her.

You three left such a strong legacy here, helping restart programs following Covid and establishing the connections we have today. We’re going to miss you! ❤️💛

Fall and Winter 2025 🍂❄️

Seasons full of service, learning, and showing up for our community.

From outreach in Saginaw at the Old Town Christian Outreach, to packing free sexual health & menstrual care kits with our partners , to connecting with the community at the MidMichigan Community College Women’s Health Fair, and many more not pictured — every event reminded us why street medicine matters.

We spent time listening, laughing, taking blood pressures, gathering histories, and learning alongside organizations doing incredible work, including public health research with BWell for the city of Saginaw and presenting our work at the conference.

We are so grateful for our teams, partners, volunteers, and the communities who welcomed us. This is what medicine looks like outside the clinic wall 🩺♥️

Here’s to more outreach, collaboration, and care in 2026.

This past weekend members of our team attended the Society of Student Run Free Clinics conference in Chicago to represent CMU and present their research projects. We strive to understand and bring awareness to challenges members of underserved communities face.

Huge thank you to our CMU faculty and street medicine physician volunteers for their support and the patients who trust us with their stories. We can’t wait to see what else we are able to accomplish this year! 👏🏼🧠🚚🔬

✨ Renaissance Fair x Street Med! ✨
This past Saturday our team brought care to a unique setting—the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly, MI! 🎭🏰

Many festival workers travel across the state, country, or even continent for different acts, often without access to stable healthcare. Our Street Medicine team was on site to provide check-ups and support for employees and volunteers right inside the fairgrounds. 🩺💛

📅 We’ll be back on September 27th, 8–11:30 AM. If you or someone you know will be at the fair, come find us!
