Rebecca Grimwade Brown’s exposure to healing touch first came at the age of five. She learned then that, no matter the situation, everyone benefits from nurturing touch. This truth stayed with her and led her to the field of massage therapy. Becca became an approved provider with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) in 2011 and teaches continuing education to massage therapists, specializing in prenatal massage and Myofascial therapies. Becca lives in the Portage Park neighborhood of Chicago with her husband Phil and their daughter Sera. She has worked at Urban Oasis since 2004, maintains a private practice at Lakeview Physical Therapy, and provides doula services throughout Chicagoland. She enjoys biking and yoga, but most of all she enjoys the adventures of being a mother.
