After closing the space between the front teeth with orthodontic treatment, we performed a quick and comfortable laser frenectomy to remove a low-attaching labial frenum. This helps reduce the risk of the space reopening and supports a more stable, long-lasting result.

✨Smile Transformation ✨

This patient came to us with a severe open bite, tongue thrust habit, and significant dental crowding. Because the tongue position was contributing to the bite problem, treatment focused not only on straightening the teeth, but also correcting the underlying habit for a more stable, lasting result.

We used a habit appliance to help address tongue thrusting and carefully planned treatment to create the space needed for ideal tooth alignment and bite correction.

In this case, removing four premolars allowed us to achieve a healthy bite, improve smile balance, and most importantly, avoid jaw surgery. While extractions are not needed for every patient, they can sometimes be the most conservative and healthiest option to create the best long-term result—especially in non-growing patients with significant crowding or bite discrepancies.

The result? A dramatic improvement in both function and smile esthetics—without surgery. 👏

From birthday celebrations to team brunch 💜✨

This past busy Saturday at Obaisi Orthodontics started with celebrating our amazing assistant, Vanessa, with sweets and flowers for her birthday 🎂💐 and ended with a well-deserved team brunch after a full day of seeing patients.

We’re so grateful for a team that works hard, supports one another, and still finds time to celebrate the little moments together. Days like these remind us how lucky we are to do what we love with such an amazing group 💜

This patient came to us with severe crowding and ectopically erupted canines (canines that came in out of position). With a customized orthodontic treatment plan, we were able to create space, guide the teeth into proper alignment, and transform their smile.

Early evaluation is important, especially when canines are not erupting normally. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic evaluation by age 7 to help identify problems early and guide proper eruption.

This patient came in with an impacted canine (a tooth stuck under the gums that couldn’t erupt on its own). With the right plan, we guided the tooth into place and created a healthy, confident smile

Early diagnosis makes a huge difference with cases like this. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic evaluation by age 7 to catch issues like impacted teeth early and simplify treatment.
