As I enter the final year of my 30s, I'm beginning to think that my 40s are going to be pretty damn amazing. (As opposed to in my early 30s when I thought, OMG, not 40!)

I'm so happy with my family, friends, career and just more confident in who I am and who I want to be. My life is definitely not perfect, but it's mine and I love it, with all of its wrinkles (not my wrinkles-those I tox away 😆)

Make the years count, instead of counting the years. Bring it 39. I'm so excited for what's in store.

Botox or Dysport? People always ask me, "What's the difference?".

I can feed you the industry jargon and say that Dysport is supposed to spread more and Botox is supposed to look more dramatic but I use them both the exact same way and get similar results.

Some say Botox works better and others say Dysport. I personally feel like I've had better results and fewer issues with Dysport when patients complain about it not working as well or as long. I typically use Dysport on my own face. I'm not hating, just saying what works for me.

Everyone who's had an appointment with me knows how much I love educating before I perform a procedure. I sometimes freak the hell out of you, but I'd rather you be 100% knowledgeable about any adverse reaction, than call me and say, "you never said...".

It's very rare that many of the issues we discuss do occur, but I personally would rather know than not, and I follow that philosophy with my clients.

Sometimes, I hear people tell me that they've never been told many of the things that I discussed when visiting with other injectors. I then educate them on what to look for in a good injector because that's important too.

Yay to being Friday!

I wanted to reintroduce myself and share a couple of fun things about me for my new followers.

- I love my job- stabbing peoples' faces with sharp objects (aka being an aesthetic injector)🤣

- I love being able to make people feel more confident in their skin. It's the best part of my job and what keeps me loving it. ❤️

- I'm also super goofy and🤪 making people laugh feeds my soul.

- I love love love to read. I'm a total bookworm.

- Traveling feeds my curiosity and food puts me in my happy place.

- I've been a derm NP for 5 years and an FNP for 11 and a business owner for 1.5 years.

- I love my clients and wake up feeling so lucky to have this as my career

- Last but not least, I love my family, my babies and husband, they keep me real and grounded.
