Lisa’s Journey:
Lisa Fuchs is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who is now in need of a liver transplant. She married her high school sweetheart, and for the past 40 years, they have built a beautiful life together. They have three loving sons, all married, and Lisa’s greatest joy is being a grandmother to her eight wonderful grandchildren.
Lisa shares a close bond with her family, including her beloved sister, who is also her best friend, and her brother who has always been a source of love and support. She also holds dear the memory of her late brother, whose spirit continues to guide and inspire her everyday. Family has always been at the heart of Lisa’s life, and she treasures every moment spent with them.
For the past 30 years, Lisa has dedicated her career to helping others. As the Assistant Director at Friendship Village’s PWC program, she has worked tirelessly to support adults with disabilities, always offering kindness, compassion, and a warm smile.
Before her diagnosis, Lisa was full of energy and loved spending time with friends, dancing to her favorite music, and making cherished memories. She and her husband have always shared a love for the outdoors, enjoying weekends boating, camping, and soaking up every moment with their grandchildren.
Lisa’s journey has now brought her to a place where she needs the love and support of her family, friends, and community more than ever. A liver transplant is her hope for a future filled with more laughter, adventures, and special moments with those she loves most. Through strength, faith, and the generosity of others, Lisa is holding onto hope for the gift of life.
