The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, social work, or nursing, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to perform various tasks to ensure the comfort and well-being of clients in their home or care facilities. We also seek caregivers who solely aid family members who can get more work under our agency.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or outings.
Support clients with personal hygiene routines while respecting their dignity and privacy.

Skills
Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or social work is preferred.
Knowledge of senior care practices, home health services, and CPR techniques is highly valued.
Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
Ability to maintain a clean living space while ensuring safety standards are met.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules in different environments such as group homes or private residences.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED,
1 YEAR of caregiving experience,
ability to read/speak/write English
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
successfully pass employment background checks, reference checks,
TB proof of screening and must show proof of employment eligibility in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
Must have reliable transportation, valid IL driver's license OR state ID. For training purposes, must possess basic proficiency on Smartphone/computer.
