Journey's Community Center

Journey's Community Center Journey's Community, "The process of change in others begins with you." Journey's Community was founded by Mr. We hold three pillars of human behavior.

Lopez in 2017 with the purpose of assisting communities, families, children, and individuals as they journey through the ecosystems of their life. We believe that peace of mind and heart is the result of a transcendent view of momentary afflictions. We view the individual's constellation of life as holistic and that each individual’s life is impacted by his or her choices and those of others. We strive to help individuals gain insight and clarity leading to purpose and their life's meaning. First, the individual experiences life through physical exterior inputs. Second, the individual has a spiritual void. Third, the individual's psychopathology is the product of both material and non-material forces. Journey's Community is committed to the process of transformative communities and individuals. Therefore, we have developed School-Based Community Crisis Intervention and Mental Health Strategies. Our objective is to proactively assist schools understand the ecology of their students and neighborhoods with the purpose of engaging students and families in meaningful educational goals. We assist schools develop intervention strategies, provide proactive measures to deescalate maladaptive/violent behaviors, implement suitable classroom management, create effective disciplinary actions, minimize student and staff aggression, and empower all members in the ongoing solution toward a safe & successful school environment. Lastly, we offer the following services to the community: Individual & Family Counseling Services, Parenting Support Groups, Father’s Rights Support Group, School-Based Community Crisis Intervention and Mental Health Strategies Workshops, and Humanistic, Existential, Religious, and Spiritual Workshops.
