Join us WEDNESDAY 5/27 for eft tapping by the lake at sunrise! 🌅

What better way to start your day than regulating your nervous system while watching the sun rise over the lake?
So what is EFT Tapping?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a practice that combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with guided intention. It helps calm the body, process emotions, and bring you back into balance.
Benefits of EFT Tapping:
• Reduces stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
• Supports emotional release + processing
• Helps regulate the nervous system
• Improves focus and clarity
• Creates a sense of grounding and calm

We’ll be meeting at Fullerton Beach. I recommend parking by the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (free parking), then walking over to the beach under the bridge.
Thanks to Pie, I’ll send updates and the exact location once we arrive—so keep an eye out.
And honestly… just look for a group sitting by the water watching the sunrise—that’s probably us haha :)

What to bring:
• Water
• Maybe a journal
• Intentions in mind
• A swimsuit
Depending on the weather, we might jump in the lake afterward. We usually don’t take longer than 30 minutes, but plan for about an hour in case we want to walk the beach, dip our toes or go all in 🌊

Hey y’all! I took an incredible pelvic health course this past weekend through and got to learn from so many amazing teachers — , a pelvic floor physical therapist and Postural Restoration certified practitioner, as well as Donna from and , both physical therapists, Pilates instructors, and Postural Restoration certified.
We explored the asymmetrical pelvis, the diaphragm, conditions pregnant and postpartum women may experience, and in general what can happen when the pelvic floor becomes too tight or imbalanced. We learned so many different applications on how to help rebalance the body from the inside out and how important airflow, breathing mechanics, and pressure systems are in this process.

I’m feeling deeply inspired and excited to continue integrating this work into my sessions and classes over the coming weeks. Pilates classes definitely just leveled up :) Movement truly is medicine. ⚡️⚡️

Join us for an intentional evening of ritual, presence, and connection.
We’re honored to welcome Airi a Japanese matcha educator, who will guide us through an authentic, hands-on matcha tea ceremony rooted in tradition. This is more than just drinking matcha—it is an invitation to slow down, engage your senses, and experience the cultural depth behind the practice. 🍵

Each guest will prepare their own matcha using traditional tools provided by Airi, learning the mindful steps that transform this into a meditative ritual.

Because this experience is hands-on, space is limited to keep the environment intimate and supportive.
We will close the evening with a grounding sound healing journey, allowing the stillness and calm cultivated during the ceremony to fully land in the body and nervous system.

About the host:
Airi is a Japanese matcha educator who shares authentic matcha practices and cultural experiences in Chicago. Her work invites others to slow down, connect, and deepen their appreciation for matcha beyond trends.

Grateful for everyone who showed up for our Mother’s Day healing experience 🌷 We had mothers, daughters, grandmas, sisters, aunties, cat moms, and dog moms! 😆🙌🏽

We love creating spaces that nurture the mother within all of us.❣️

So thankful to Veronica for sharing these EMDR-informed tools to help process the emotions that arose, especially through the reflection questions around motherhood. I also love knowing that many of these healing practices are deeply rooted in Indigenous wisdom and existed long before they were researched and given modern terminology.

It was an honor to close our time together with sound healing and collective rest. 💝
