Meet Laurie Sabas, a dedicated Neurointerventional Surgery and Stroke Nurse Practitioner at Resurrection Medical Center. In her role, Laurie works closely with patients and care teams during some of the most critical moments of recovery, providing both clinical expertise and compassionate support.

When asked about her goal for patients, Laurie shared,

“My goal is to provide support, reassurance, encouragement, and hope, along with the education patients need to achieve the best possible outcome.”

January is National Blood Donor Month, a time to recognize the generosity of blood donors and raise awareness about the ongoing need for donations, especially during the winter months when supplies often decline. By donating blood, individuals help ensure hospitals have the lifesaving resources needed to care for patients and families when it matters most.
