Happy Birthday to our board member, Michelle. 💙✨

The heart of a team isn’t always the loudest person in the room. Sometimes it’s the one making sure everybody else is good first. That’s Michelle.

Whether she’s helping people feel confident through hair care, pushing others toward wellness and fitness, showing up for the community, or simply being the person everyone can count on, she leads with genuine care and consistency.

But don’t let the calm spirit fool you. A Bears game can turn her into a full analyst overnight, and a spades table? Please. Survival is not guaranteed. Humanity continues to gather around folding tables thinking confidence alone can save them. It cannot. 😭♠️

Michelle brings heart, loyalty, laughter, and real team spirit into every space she touches. She’s the kind of person who makes people feel supported without needing recognition for it.

Today we celebrate not just what she does, but who she is.

Through Hillman Starting Line, Hillman Recreation Foundation provides sponsored placements into major Chicago walking and running events for residents who may not otherwise have access to participate.
