🩺 The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania opened up about her diagnosis and treatment for atrial fibrillation. After experiencing frequent flutters in her chest, she went to see her cardiologist, who within hours called to tell her that she had AFib (atrial fibrillation). He then referred her to an electrophysiologist, Dr. Robert Altman, who confirmed the diagnosis and performed her cardiac ablation.

🗨️ “I’m sharing this because I want you to listen to your body. That racing or fluttering in your chest you feel doing simple tasks during the day- that’s your body trying to tell you something,” she said. “DON’T IGNORE THIS. AFib increases your risk of stroke or heart attack.”
