Our final trip of the semester lead us to ! We had an amazing time frolicking, exploring the colors and the beautiful exhibitions! So much gratitude for these experiences with these dynamic young women! 🌺🌼🌷🌸

The girls have spoken! At the end of our Cent(HER)ed Girls group, we do a field trip to commemorate our time together and be free! The girls chose to do an escape room and get lunch! The levels were really challenging, but they worked together and figured it out! So many lovely moments! So much fun! Thank you for a great year, my girls! Can’t wait to see you in the fall! 🥰🥰🥰

Day two of our Cent(HER)ed Girls Spring Break Trip was filled with exciting activities! We made a mandatory stop at Waffle House. Next, we visited the King Center to gain valuable knowledge. Afterward, we spent time shopping at Lenox Square, leaving our wallets a bit lighter. To satisfy our cravings, we treated ourselves to some soul food at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. Finally, we ended the day with a skate night at the renowned Cascade Family Skating Rink. As we approach our last day, we can’t help but feel a sense of sadness.

The Cent(HER)ed Girls Spring Break Trip is here, and we’re so excited! On Day One, we landed in ATL, explored Spelman College with our wonderful tour guide Taylor, visited Clark Atlanta University with our lively tour guide Kendall, and settled into our villa! What adventures await us on Day Two? Keep an eye out! 👀

✨Sacred Rest: A Healing Circle for Black Mothers ✨
📅 April 16, 2026 🕕 6:00 PM 📍 Columbus Park Refectory - 5701 W. Jackson Blvd.

This intimate gathering will be co-facilitated by two dynamic clinicians from Meek Wellness and the Cent(HER)ed Collective. Together, they will guide participants through moments of reflection and connection, traditional healing practices, and meaningful dialogue—while also creating opportunities to build community, strengthen support systems, and advocate for change in the maternal and child health landscape.

While some discussions may center postpartum experiences, ALL mothers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
🍽️ Dinner will be served, and space is limited—registration is required. Reserve your spot fast!

What’s your superpower? That’s the question we posed to our girls this week as we explore a few key figures in women’s history! Surprisingly, many girls weren’t aware they had superpowers! After reflecting on our rich history, the amazing women in our lives and what we wanted to be known for, they crafted some great responses! ♀️
