Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center provides physical, occupational, speech and Behavior therapy services in the clinic, school, and teletherapy setting as well as in the home through the Early Intervention Program. We work with children of all ages, from premature infants to young adults. Our therapists work in partnership with families to establish meaningful goals and provide interventions that are developmentally appropriate in a child-friendly environment. Communication with the child, parents, and specialists on the team is the cornerstone of our intervention and treatment philosophies. We have multiple social groups and classes for all ages that meet on a weekly or twice weekly basis. We strive to provide a variety of services for children and their caregivers to serve as a resource for families in the community. These groups include developmental play groups, social skills groups, parent support groups and motor skills groups. 🔺Lorena - She is a truly exceptional clinician. She consistently creates meaningful learning opportunities throughout each of her clients’ sessions, helping them grow more independent with every passing day. Her dedication and consistency make a lasting impact, and when a client achieves something big, no one is more proud than Lorena. The families she works with truly adore her and deeply value the care and support she provides to their children. Clients adore you, and so do we!

🔻Jenna - She is one of the sweetest, most fun, and kind-hearted therapists you’ll ever meet. Her passion for the field and for her clients is truly unmatched. From the moment you meet her, you’re greeted with a warm, genuine smile that makes you feel welcome. Jenna leads our FNF Jr. social group every Friday night, and this is where her creativity really shines. She comes up with engaging, often hilarious games and activities that keep everyone excited and involved! We are so grateful for all that Jenna does and incredibly proud of her!

🔺Avery - He is a smart & kind therapist. You can tell he enjoys his work because when he is with the kids, he is also having fun. He is compassionate and always considers his clients' perspectives. Having Avery on your team, means you have someone who is eager to help & learn. He really enjoys connecting & learning from his teammates. Even better, he loves learning from his clients too. Avery is determined to continue helping families as he works on becoming a social worker!

🔻Diana - She is always attentive, proactive, and fully engaged in her sessions. She brings positivity wherever she goes, collaborating effortlessly with others and brightening each day with her smile and the songs she sings throughout her sessions. Diana has earned the title of “co-treat queen,” and for good reason. Heart warming moment on World Autism Awareness Day 🤍 ♾️ “Thank you ESPN for inviting me here”

Madden Orlovsky, the 14-year-old son of Dan Orlovsky, joined the broadcast earlier this month. On the show, his artwork (including a drawing of his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles) was featured.

Madden’s rendition of the Eagles fight song put a smile on everyone’s face and made his father’s eyes a little misty. Enjoy!

Claire brings a genuine compassion to every child and family she works with. Her ability to connect, support, and empower her patients is truly special. She consistently meets each child where they are, creating thoughtful, individualized care plans that help them thrive.

Beyond her clinical work, Claire has shown outstanding leadership through her role on the Safety Committee. Her dedication to making our spaces safer, more accessible, and supportive for everyone has led to meaningful improvements across our Center and the Academy. She is always thinking ahead, advocating for best practices, and ensuring that both our children and team are set up for success.

🍊 Katie - She’s truly a superwoman! She is always ready to jump in and save the day. If you didn’t already know, Katie thrives on a good challenge, and it shows in everything she does. It's Tuesday and it's time to shoutout 4 fantastic RBTs for Month⭐

🟢 James - He is a clever and fun therapist who brings energy and intention into every session. He does an incredible job weaving programs into each part of the day. You’ll often find him in the gym, connecting with clients through play. No matter the challenge, James approaches it with a calm, cool, and collected mindset. He genuinely cares about his clients’ progress. Families see & appreciate the consistency, compassion, & effort he brings day in and day out, and we do too.

🟡 Denise - She is a true leader! Every Friday night, she shows up to lead our Friday Night Friend Group, bringing thoughtful “master plans” that help clients build relationships and develop a true sense of belonging. Denise recently completed her BCBA supervision hours & was a shining star throughout the journey. Denise meets each client where they are and has a special way of bringing out their very best. Her passion for learning and dedication to her clients truly sets her apart.

🔴 Elliot - Elliot can best be described as rad! He truly embodies compassionate care, always keeping his clients’ well-being at the center of everything he does. What makes Elliot great is how he pairs that compassion with fun. His energy is never wavering, and the level of engagement he brings to every interaction is top tier. He meets kids right where they are, & you’ll often find him being a kid right alongside them. That energy makes therapy feel natural and engaging!

🔵 Alondra - Her warm, kind approach to sessions helps clients connect with her & learn effectively. Alondra is smart, creative, compassionate, and deeply thoughtful in her work, all of which make her sessions highly impactful and contribute greatly to her clients’ success. Alondra’s passion will undoubtedly guide her as she continues her journey toward becoming a BCBA. 🟡Leslie has probably helped you at some point during your time here, and for good reason… she’s been with us for 6 years! She’s the kind of person you can always count on to jump in and make any situation better. Calm, collected, and seriously organized, Leslie brings a steady presence to everything she does. She has a special ability to connect with any child and bring out the very best in them. Leslie is also wrapping up her BCBA supervision soon. One thing’s for sure—she’s going to make an amazing BCBA!

🔴Max’s ability to work with children is truly unmatched. He has a natural gift for connecting with them and takes compassionate care to the next level. He’s always thinking from his clients’ perspectives, tapping into their interests to make every session fun and meaningful. His clients have built incredibly special relationships with him. He’s a steady, supportive presence they can count on. Max is the kind of therapist who isn’t afraid to be silly to make a moment click. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again—Max, you are one in a million!

🟣 She’s got style and she’s got GRACE—and she truly helps make this a great place! Grace is an all-star teammate who’s always on the move, jumping in wherever she’s needed to support both her team and her clients. Got a tricky transition? Grace is already there, ready to turn it into something fun and engaging. She brings the energy and the caring touch, and her clients absolutely light up around her. We’re so grateful to have Grace on our team. She brings a consistently positive attitude, and a smile you can count on... no matter the situation!

🟢 Faviola can best be described as calm, helpful, and steady. She brings a grounding presence to even the most challenging situations, making everything feel that much more manageable. She stays positive and is always ready to pivot when needed, which makes her an MVP teammate, especially during co-treats. Her low-stress, calming energy is contagious and helps the children she works with regulate and feel at ease. She’s a true model clinician!

You are invited to participate in Step Forward to Cure TSC 👟

This walk is on Sunday, April 26th at 10am over at Lake Shore Park. It’s goal is to raise money toward research and awareness of tuberous sclerosis complex. Participants will be walking with Chicago Therapeutic Childrens Academy very own Cameron K. and her family!

Cameron was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) at birth, a rare genetic disorder that can cause seizures, developmental delays, and other medical challenges. She faced seizures early on, and we went through many, many medications and multiple brain surgeries.

This disorder has meant a lot of time in hospitals, appointments, and navigating the unknown—but through it all, Cameron has remained incredibly strong, resilient, and full of her silly, happy personality. She brings so much joy to the people around her.

This year, we’re incredibly grateful to be celebrating one year seizure-free, along with so much developmental progress. Watching her grow, explore, and gain new skills has been really special.

A huge part of that progress is thanks to the support, care, and dedication from the team at CPTWC and CTCA—her teachers, therapists, and the administration have made such a meaningful impact on her journey and on our family.
