Dr. Daniela Perez Chadid is a physician and global neurosurgery researcher at Rutgers who works to expand access to safe, affordable surgical, obstetric, trauma, and anesthesia care. A former G4 Alliance Fellow with prior experience at UNICEF, she bridges research and policy to strengthen health systems in low resource settings. As a G4 Alliance Fellow she contributed to the Operative Encounter Registry, supported policy work around the World Health Assembly folate fortification resolution, and engaged in advocacy linked to the United Nations General Assembly. She is passionate about brain health equity and building coalitions that deliver measurable gains in surgical outcomes.
