Hi! 👋🏼 It’s me, Ms. Erin - if you’re new here, welcome! I don’t show my face too much because it’s not about me, but I’ve been wearing my teaching hat again lately, so I thought I’d say hello. 🧢
When someone asks for the BBKY origin story, I always say that we accidentally started a business in 2015, yet nothing about the last 10 years has been an accident. In fact, our work is so intentional, meaningful, and purpose-driven. 💫
As we walk (run, dance, trudge, hide, or however you plan to arrive) into the holiday season, I can’t help but feel an immense amount of gratitude. 🙏
✨ for the origins, history, lineage of teachers, and ancient science of yoga who illuminate this path, even as we often stumble.
✨ for my teachers who show up for each class of students as their authentic self and attend to the ever changing needs of both the individual and the group.
✨ for the parents & families who entrust us with their most precious humans.
✨ for the schools, organizations, and educators who believe in our work, welcome us into their space, and prioritize this practice year after year.
✨ for the heart-centered colleagues and collaborators who have been along for the very twisty, joyful ride.
✨ for my 95 Hour RCYTT trainers for pouring themselves into each workshop.
✨ for the other brains & hearts of BBKY who push me, handle me with grace, and make me a better leader.
✨ for my husband and babies and our circle of support who always hold me up in this very real life.
✨ for the children and young people that we serve - from my OG Pershing Kindergarteners to the thousands of kiddos since - you are the reason I breathe life into this business.
Ensuring that you walk through this life feeling seen and heard, safe in your space, and confident that you are enough is an honor and a privilege. How lucky am I?!❣️
