Hi! Take a few deep breaths with me, yeah?

Great! Let's start by slowly bringing your shoulders up to your ears and tensing them, then slowly dropping your shoulders down and rolling them back if you can...lean into a comfortable position stretching your arms and legs out and releasing the tension you may be carrying. If you choose to sit upright, try to plant your feet flat on the ground and scoot into a comfortable sitting position.

Breathe naturally at first and when ready, take a slow, deep breath in through your nose...try to hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling through your mouth. Let's try that again...breathe in...pause....exhale...and breathe in....pause....exhale...

With this next deep breath in, try to imagine the feeling of peace, love, and safety begin to fill your lungs as if it is traveling through your body. Be still with this for a few seconds. Slowly exhale through your mouth and notice the feelings of stress, doubts, and worries begin to ease and even float away...

Try this again for the next sixty seconds and notice if there is a shift of energy in your body. Still feeling tense or anxious? Try another few rounds of just sixty seconds until you feel some calmness wash over you.

If you struggled with this, that's pretty common! Save this and practice just sixty seconds per day. When you feel you got this mastered, increase your round of breathwork and see if you can take deeper inhales and exhales. Remember: practice makes better!
