Why are we so inflamed?
Because we are disconnected.
Disconnected from the Earth.
From the Sun.
From real food…
and real rhythm.
Our screens put us to sleep at night,
And the first thing we reach for in the morning is our phone. Imagine if you reached for a journal, and started writing your dreams down.
We drink dead water—stripped, fluoridated, and lifeless.
We eat food that isn’t food.
Processed. Preserved.
Designed in a lab, not grown in soil.
Our meat, dairy, and eggs—
from animals fed corn and confined under flickering lights…
are stripped of their anti-inflammatory Omega-3
and loaded with inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids.
We slather seed oils on our food,
burning our cells from the inside out.
We have been told that fat is the culprit of modern disease, and as a consequence, turned to more carbs, starches and grains.
This caused an explosion in our belt lines, and our insulin resistance, and ultimately Type 2 diabetes.
Our whole lives, we have been told WHAT to think…I would urge you to remember HOW to think.
We are no longer the
sole authority on our health,
as public health policy
, managed care, and insurance companies have usurped that
role from us.
Our hormones are
dysregulated
Our mitochondria—exhausted.
Our nervous systems—stuck in fight or flight.
Because we live in bodies that were meant to move,
but we sit in boxes,
surrounded by Wi-Fi,
watching fear on repeat.
We were made for barefoot walks at sunrise…
not scrolling under blue light at midnight.
We were made to breathe,
to stretch,
to touch the Earth and let it discharge us.
Instead, we plug in our phones—
but never ourselves.
We’re told inflammation is a diagnosis.
But it’s a symptom.
A symptom of disconnection.
From nature.
From truth.
From Self.
Inflammation is the body’s cry
for
alignment.
For grounding.
For light.
For rhythm.
For remembrance.
And healing begins
when we return. ☀️ 🦶
