šŸ“šA 2023 study looked at common injuries in Brazilian jiu jitsu and found injuries happen more often during training than in competition.

The most frequently injured areas? Fingers, hands, shoulders, knees, and neck.

The good news—less than half of those injuries needed medical attention, and very few required surgery.

Bottom line: injuries happen. But they don’t have to keep you off the mats.
