HALO Precision Diagnostics & Breast Care Center continues to grow!
We are currently looking for 3 roles:
1. Scheduler
Essential Functions
• Schedules appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Confirms that all patient demographic information is correct.
• Instruct patients on proper preparation on exams.
• Works all active orders and queues to ensure patients are scheduled in a timely manner.
• Relays information accurately and promptly between patients and staff.
• Warm hand off any connecting calls between patients, offices, and staff.
• Document all patient contacts, to ensure clear and open communication.
• Perform other tasks, as assigned, or needed by leaders.
Competencies
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Computer knowledge and experience
• Demonstrate clerical skills and ability to establish good working relationships with others.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently within a team framework under minimal supervision.
2. Referrals & Authorizations Coordinator
Essential Functions
• Review all incoming orders from faxes and work queues.
• Verifies that all orders are complete, and all information needed is in order.
• Verify insurance eligibility.
• Acquire authorizations for any exams needed.
• Confirm/Request all priors and pathology.
• Sends all verified exams to schedule.
• Perform other tasks, as assigned, or needed by leaders.
Competencies
• Detail oriented and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Computer knowledge and experience
• Demonstrate clerical skills and ability to establish good working relationships with others.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently within a team framework under minimal supervision.
• Good visual and auditory acuity.
3. Support Staff
Support Staff Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the center, in various roles, with various tasks.
• Help patient’s complete registration process.
• Schedule patients for follow up or same day appointments.
• Assist with rooming patients, as needed.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness, restock clerical equipment, and keep lobby clean.
• Reviews schedules and reports to confirm patient appointments.
• Relay information accurately and promptly between patients and staff.
• Warm hand off any connecting calls between patients, offices, and staff.
• Perform other tasks, as assigned, or needed by leaders.
Competencies
• Ability to interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Strong clinical knowledge (breast health, medications, etc.)
• Able to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients.
• Advanced knowledge of current screening, diagnostic tools, and treatment options for breast cancer patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrate strong ability to be flexible and receptive to new ideas and be able to lead and/or participate in change in ever changing breast health situations.
• Good knowledge of and ability to perform sterile procedures.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong ability to be detail oriented.
