Passages HICAP is hosting the Medicare Open Enrollment Drop-In Clinic in Chico!

Passages HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) works to inform and support our aging adult community.The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period lasts from October 15 – December 7. Registered Medicare counselors will be on site and available to assist with Part D or Medicare Advantage Plan comparisons and changes.

🌷 November is Family Caregiver Month! 🌷

At our Orland Caregiver Support Group, we recently asked our caregivers to share words that describe what being a caregiver means to them. Together, we created a beautiful word cloud filled with their heartfelt responses, this is a visual reminder of their strength, compassion, and the power of peer support. 💜

Some of the words they shared were:
✨ Patience, empathy, self-sacrifice, prayer, humor, overwhelming, timely, trust, organized, mindfulness, listener, presence, happiness, and kindness.✨

This project was a touching reminder that caregivers are never alone, Passage Caregiver Resource Center is here to help you! We listens, understands, and provide support to you through every step of your journey.
