We had quite the opportunity to be resilient and pivot for this Christmas party! Originally expected to be at a mountain cabin rental, cozy and family-like, that was a bait & switch and was uninhabitable. So the Hampton Inn in Chico swooped in and saved the day! The folks down there gave us a great deal on their conference room and we made it work! All in all, Santa came for a visit, we figured out our murder mystery, and the white elephant game had everyone excited about what they brought home! This was a Christmas Party for the books!!!

Teenage brains go through a period of pruning. Have you ever noticed a teen who suddenly forgot how to load the dishwasher or double knot their shoelaces? Their brains are pruning the information no longer needed to make room for everything they need to learn for adulthood. In the same vein, we need to regularly and internally prune our habits, priorities, relationships to make room for new and beautiful opportunities! What can be cut out or pared down so there's room in your life for new blessings when they arrive?
