October 2022- Eclipse Time Mania Returns, Focus + Willpower = Clarity, No Force + No Rush= Results(NO BS)
Welcome to October 2022! You have now made it to the 10th month of this wild ride of a year. Congratulate yourself! It has been quite a time out there as of late! This is sure to be one of the most intense and action packed months of the year! There is so much happening in the cosmic energies in October that signify change, growth and evolution of consciousness. Prepare yourself and get ready to be catapulted into a brand new territory of the unknown. Nothing ventured, nothing gained is my motto for October 2022.
One of the main reasons that October 2022 is so intense and life changing is we are now in another cycle of Eclipse energies. Eclipses signify massive upheaval, unexpected events and change. This is especially true if an Eclipse happens to aspect your inner planets/points( Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, Mars, NN/SN). I always say that when you are being impacted by Eclipse energies your world will be rocked and altered in amazing and sometimes chaotic ways. They "eclipse" things out of your life that you don't see coming and bring in new energies just as quickly.
This month heralds the Partial Solar Eclipse at 2 degrees of Scorpio on October 25th. Scorpio deals with ultimate transformation, death/rebirth, investments and the underworld. Even if you don't have any personal planets of points on or around 2 degrees of Scorpio, something major will be ending for many folks and a new rebirth will be possible. Eclipse energies tend to play out 4-6 weeks prior/post to the actual event.
Another astrological event in the background this month( like we need more stuff lol) is the re-emergence of last year's Saturn in Aquarius square( tense, 90 degree aspect) to Uranus in Ta**us. Both planets are now retrograde and moving within a 1 degree square aspect of each other. This will bring back theme's from 2021 around repression of rights, control vs. freedom, and order vs. progress. Look back to last year to see what you were dealing with as certain themes could come back around, especially as both planets are retrograde and past situations could be highlighted for one more go around. This is a chance to break some kind of form of repressive cycle and to create a new energy of change and personal freedom. On October 2nd, Mercury, the planet of communication, the mind and contracts FINALLY turns direct at 24 degrees of Virgo. I don't know about you but this has seemed like the longest and most difficult Mercury retrograde period in quite some time. It doesn't help that we also have 5 other planets/asteroids in retrograde motion at the moment. Mercury turning direct in his domicile sign of Virgo will be a HELL YES to begin moving on projects, plans and communication that could have been delayed or lost in translation. It is time to have those discussions that involve detail, planning and efficiency. This is a great time to focus on health and wellbeing as well since that is Virgo's territory of expertise. An overall sense of the world coming together and making more sense will be felt and experienced. If you have a business or project that requires analyzing the nitty gritty details or is super complex, even better. While this influence will make us still continue to be more critical and hyper aware, there is a sense of movement and progress of the intellect that we can all look forward to creating. Expect laser-like clarity to slowly begin to return and profound conversations/ideas to arise. On October 8th, Pluto, the planet of death/rebirth, regeneration and power turns direct at 26 degrees of Capricorn. For the last 6 months while Pluto was retrograde in Capricorn, we have been asked by the cosmos to go within to find a sense of structure, order and willpower. Now with Pluto's direct motion, it is time to take that inner power and use it for creating external satisfaction and order. An intense but focused energy of getting s**t done mixed with a sense of a plan is the best way to utilize this transit. Many folks could now discover what turns them on in regards to their destiny and career since that is the area of the chart that Capricorn rules. Deeper psychological analysis that occurred when Pluto was retrograde could come into the real world to be applied and embraced. For folks who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant( or inner planets) on or close to 26 degrees of Capricorn will be most impacted by Pluto's direct motion. Expect to see profound and regenerative energy connected to your ability too manifest big shifts in your destiny and purpose. Since Capricorn rules the father/masculine energy, there could be a surge of "get it done" vibes that come forth in a big way. On October 9th, we have the fiery and leadership driven Full Moon at 16 degrees of Aries. Full Moons are always highly emotional and sensitive and signify completions, manifestations and endings. Aries, the 1st zodiac sign, deals with drive, initiation, action, leadership and individuality. The Full Moon in Aries will bring forth an emotional need for freedom and inner power. Folks will be all fired up to focus on their own endeavors and ambitions with a passion of purpose and willpower. The key with this Full Moon will be to recognize the Sun in Libra's balance of not just focusing on I but rather incorporating we. Emotions surrounding our own feelings vs those of our partners could come into play big time with this full moon. The Full Moon in Aries will also conjunct Chiron, the asteroid known as the "wounded healer". The Full Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron could bring up the inner child wound of feeling isolated or all alone. It could also bring up the wound connected to being selfish and self absorbed. The key with this aspect will be around honestly expressing one's desires and fears without abandoning our partner's emotional needs and wants. Again, balancing both will be important. Expect emotional endings connected to your own need for freedom or autonomy. A surge of inner power and emotional fireworks are possible, so again remembering to put yourself in another's shoes is how to lessen the burden of this full moon. Moving to October 23rd, the Sun, which represents our ego, vitality and life force shifts from the air sign of Libra over to the water sign of Scorpio. Scorpio, the 8th zodiac sign deals with hidden energies, other's resources, mystery, sexuality, taxes and death/rebirth. Quite a wide range there lol! The Sun in Scorpio is here to bring forth an intense awakening of our inner power and sensuality. Hidden motivations and secrets could come to the surface. The unknown is super attractive to us at this time and an air of intrigue and transformation will be felt and experienced. For folks with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant( or inner planets) in Scorpio will be most impacted by the Sun's shift into this deep sign. Expect to come back home to a part of yourself that maybe felt lost or incomplete. Themes of death/rebirth are always your thang so to speak but there could be some big endings and beginnings that transform your life during the next 30 days or so. On the same day, Saturn, the planet of structures, obligations and hard work, turns direct at 19 degrees of Aquarius. For the past several months while Saturn was in retrograde motion, we have been asked to re-evaluate our structures, projects and ambitions. Some of this could have felt like being stuck in the mud with no forward progress or aspirations. Now with Saturn turning direct in Aquarius, it is time to finally see the external manifestations of such patience and perseverance. This is a great time to go after our unusual or more unorthodox plans or out of the box ideas. A solid and firm grip on reality will be at the forefront of this transit along with some humanitarian focused vibes. For folks who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 19 degrees of Aquarius, expect to make significant gains in your destiny and around your dreams. What was stalled will soon move forward in concrete and consistent ways.
