🌊Up next for our 2026 Spring Retreat: Teena Hagerman!

Teena Hagerman is a widely respected consultant, educator, and administrator of the Assisted Living industry. She has worked closely with residents and fellow administrators for over four decades. Teena is a licensed ARF and RCFE administrator and has owned and operated several facilities in both California and Florida.

Her passion for helping others drove her to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association Community Educators (2018-present), The Wellness center in Oakhurst with clients that have mental illnesses (2014-2017), and more. Currently, she owns and teaches at Assisted Care Educators. She also teaches for the Alzheimer’s Association, as she is an expert on all things dementia and Alzheimer’s. She specializes in Title-22 and the Health and Safety Code(s) of California. Teena is passionate about stellar caregiving, and lives and breathes for her residents.

Creative Ways to Reward Employees

We've talked a little bit about employee bonuses, gifts, and rewards in the past, but how about some specific examples? When an employee in an assisted living facility goes above and beyond, you want to acknowledge their hard work and reward them properly for it! 🌊Introducing our next speaker (+ a familiar face!) for the 2026 Spring Retreat: Jacob Reinhardt

Before becoming an official partner at Gould, Hahn, & Reinhardt in 2020, Jake Reinhardt gained valuable experience at the Law Office of Gould & Hahn, working closely with licensed professionals and businesses in administrative law. He began as a legal assistant in 2011, then advanced to Associate Attorney after passing the California Bar. ⚖️

Now a Partner, he helps clients through the license disciplinary process, specializing in fields like , contracting, real estate, and residential care facilities. His expertise in regulations allows him to assist facility operators in resolving issues quickly and effectively. 🤝
