We are not affiliated with the actual Independent living center. Senior Assistant employees are qualified, kind, patient, dependable, and trustworthy. Unlike most companies in the area, we do not have a minimum time sche

dule. If you, your mom, or your dad just needs us to check in for 10 mins every day to make sure they are OK - then we can do that! We assist in everyday needs. Activities include (but not limited to): Meal reminders, meal escorts, med reminders, shower assistance, all hygiene help, shopping for supplies, picking up RX's, driving to doc's appointments... Companionship! ... We can be there for anything you need. While we take care of the daily routine, organizing schedules, etc. - This gives the family the precious time they need to spend with their mom or dad, without hassling them on "Did you remember to take a shower today?" ... This gives family true quality time. Our ultimate goal is to "Help Seniors Remain Independent". We can give them the extra support and caring they need, while still keeping their independence and confidence in themselves, and their lives. I can always be reached on my cell phone for new client inquiries, or current clients that need some spur-of-the-moment help. Pam Collar

Our senior care business is looking for a Home Care Aide, CNA, or Medical Assistant to join our team and work with seniors in an independent living facility. This individual must be compassionate, dependable, and loyal. This position could be full-time or part-time, some evenings and weekends.

Senior Assistants, Inc. is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Home Care Organization, #044700007.

Normal Duties Performed: Our service covers activities of all aspects of daily living, including: meal escorts, meal reminders, getting up, going to bed, med reminders, minor house chores, escorts to activities or events, showers, sponge baths, oral care help, and laundry service. We can also go shopping for them. Some clients request walks or exercise help; we can go on walks with them, take them to the pool, or gym.

Requirements:
- Verified Certification
- Covid Vaccinations
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug test
- Must be available for evenings & weekend shifts, as well as normal working hours
-Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:
- Patient
- Organized
- Reliable - Efficient
- Caring
- Multi-tasking
- Excellent Communication
- Team Player

To be registered by the State of California Dept. of Social Services to be a Home Care Aide requires the following costs:
Live Scan (Usually Between $65-$85)
Application Fee ($35)
TB Test (usually ($25)

Senior Assistants will help you go through all the paperwork this process, but the costs are paid by employee.

The "Home Care Aide" Certificate is valid for two years and can be used with ANY Home Care Organization in California.
