Laynee, manager of supportive employment, and the one and only Brooke, volunteered for KZFR today receiving pledges for their spring pledge drive! Brooke also did an interview on air (live!) which was super special and a great shout out for our program.

We are reaching out with urgency today. Many of our Arc clients & families are directly affected by the government shutdown, resulting in a sudden reduction of essential food benefits. Some are struggling to keep basic staples in their kitchens.

To respond quickly and directly, we have launched an Emergency Food Drive — and we need your help.

To address local food insecurity amplified by recent changes and delays in CalFresh benefit distribution, The Arc of Butte County will be collecting non-perishable food and essential items. Our goal is to assemble boxes of staple food items that will directly support clients and families experiencing limited access to basic needs.

Recent cuts to food assistance programs have hit many of our clients hard, but your kindness brings comfort, stability, and dignity during a challenging time. Thank you for helping us stand together as a community!
