What a day 💪🔥

Our Development & Community Relations team hit the ground at Springfield College East Campus to test this October’s Badge of Strength Endurance Challenge in partnership with the Hampden County Sheriff's Office—and the energy was next level from start to finish.

Huge thanks to the Springfield College East Campus & Outdoor Program team for bringing the course to life.

And to the Springfield College Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant Coaches, Springfield College Wrestling, Public Safety Officers, and the Rad Dads team—thank you for volunteering, forming teams, and putting the course to the test ahead of our first-ever October endurance event. Your effort made all the difference and set the stage for what’s to come.

We’re just getting started 👀 Registration opens soon—stay tuned for the official announcement.

We were honored to be part of and sponsor the Hampden County Sheriff's Office Women in Criminal Justice Conference last week, surrounded by those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others.

We also had the privilege of connecting with Johnny O’Brien of the Hero Down Foundation , an organization supporting injured officers, wounded veterans, and their families through peer support, training, and community care. Their mission closely aligns with MHA’s commitment to respect, integrity, and compassion—helping people find strength, healing, and independence through life’s most difficult moments.

Together, both organizations are driven by the same purpose: standing beside those in need and helping people rebuild, recover, and move forward.

April is Alcohol Awareness Month—a time to recognize the impact of alcohol use disorder and uplift prevention, treatment, and recovery.

At MHA, we’re proud to lead innovative work in alcohol use disorder and recovery—making a difference in our community and beyond.

Our Recovery Coaches are the heart of that work. With lived experience, they meet people where they are, offer hope, and walk alongside them as they build a life in recovery.

It’s okay to ask for help. You are not alone. Recovery is possible. ❤️

MHA was honored to attend and sponsor the Hampden County Sheriff's Office Women in Criminal Justice Conference—an empowering event that highlights the power of collaboration across systems. It was incredible to engage with so many inspiring individuals making a difference throughout our communities.

We had the opportunity to spend time with Sheriff Nick Cocchi, Captain Holly Cote, Paws 4 Blue K-9, and Johnny O’Brien, Founder & President of the Hero Down Foundation , and were also excited to meet Willow, a therapy dog from the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office 🐾

The conference brings together professionals from criminal justice, behavioral health, and community organizations to create real opportunities for more coordinated, compassionate care, and stronger outcomes for the people we serve.

At MHA, we’re proud to be part of that continuum, supporting recovery, stability, and long-term success every step of the way.
