In Loving Memory of F. Keith Richeson
August 19, 1947 — January 2, 2026
Floyd Keith Richeson was known for his compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Keith touched countless lives through both his profession and his personal kindness. He was an extraordinary Chiropractic Physician for over 45 years in the towns of Gainesville and Chiefland.
Above all, Keith was a devoted father to his three sons—Marcus, Micah, and Matthew—each of whom proudly followed in his footsteps to become Chiropractors. He found great joy in his family and was deeply proud of the men his sons became.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd Richeson and Ruth Thomas Richeson. He is survived by three sons, Marcus Keith, Micah Thomas (Mitze McBride Richeson) and Matthew Todd (Stephanie Ciolkosz Richeson). Also his sister Carol Lynn Kennedy and former wife Sheilah Richeson Benson who helped raise their three sons. As well as seven grandchildren; Sydney Richeson, Lacey Rose Wheeler (Jay Wheeler), Lexie Richeson Cravens (Kevin Cravens), Jack Richeson, Maxim Richeson, Sasha Richeson, Roman Richeson, and one great grandson Noah Wheeler.
Keith truly loved life and people. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering his time, care, and support freely, never expecting anything in return. His giving spirit and genuine heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
A large part of his life was his service to God, serving as both a Deacon and later as an Elder of Glen Springs Road Church of Christ. Keith strengthened his relationship with the Lord and rededicated his life to Christ this past year. His faith once again had become an important part of his journey and brought him great peace and purpose.
Keith will always be remembered for his servant’s heart, his dedication to healing others, and the love he poured into his family in his early years, his restored faith, and his community. His legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
