🍄 Pleurotus 🍄 found some wild oysters on our rescue logs. The large one didn’t make it and got destroyed by the rain, I’m risking this fine little fellow to see if it gets any bigger. I may liberate it before sundown for with dinner, we’ll see

✨CACAO✨
Used by the Mayans as a medicine of the heart & to bring one back into harmony. Increases oxygen flow to the brain. Induces the release of endorphins. Possible immune booster. Possible cholesterol & blood pressure lowering abilities. Rich in fiber, magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, & copper.
Cacao, the first step in chocolate, product of the Theobroma cacao tree. Such a wonderful plant to have in our arsenal.
Cacao is the star of the show in our new Heart warming Cacao electuary. While this electuary is far from a traditional Xocoatl (aka “drink of the gods”) but was definitely inspired by it.

✨Surprise✨ it’s time for me to give back to you. I had mentioned last week that there would be new electuaries released in spring. As a way to say thank you for being so great & supportive I have ONE 4oz electuary to giveaway as a sneak peek & thank you!

I asked in my stories which y’all prefer Golden latte, Matcha latte, or Hot cacao. Well, hot cacao won by a long shot. Our Heart Warming Cacao electuary has cacao nibs, coco powder, cinnamon, cayenne, tulsi, & motherwort powdered & blended together in a local Florida honey until a thick almost paste forms. Y’all... I’m not just saying this,but, It’s SO good!!! I personally like to just eat it off a spoon 😬 but it is meant to be stirred in to warmed milk of your choice (we use local raw whole milk, but goat, oat, almond, or ANY milk would work!)
One lucky follower will be sent a standard size (4oz glass jar) of our newest creation next week. We will count entries up until Saturday (2/13) and announce a winner on Valentine’s Day (Sunday 2/14)
