Hello everyone we are opening back up Monday May 11 but for a while things will be different in our office due to new evaluations we must perform before seeing our patients and also complying with social distancing practices.
1. We will need to speak to every patient prior to your appointment when we either confirm the appointment or when we initially schedule the appointment. We will have questions that we need answered at that time and if we can't get those questions answered we will have to cancel your appointment and open up the space for another patient.
2. We will only have certain time spots available right now (especially for hygiene) to be able to practice social distancing appropriately in our office. Please have patience with us on trying to find an available time to reschedule you. We are trying to make up for 6 1/2 weeks of patients that had to be cancelled along with adjusting our current schedule of patients to fit our new social distancing practices.
3. When coming to the office for your appointment please read the sign that will be outside the door. We are needing all patients to ring our new doorbell and wait outside until one of our staff members meets you outside to do your appointment evaluation. We will be taking your temperature, asking you questions and giving you hand sanitizer at this point. If your temperature is above 100.4 we will not be able to see you for your appointment at this time and we will call to reschedule you because we will not be allowed to have you come into the office. Please know that we will be sanitizing the door handles and doorbell after each patient.
4. At this time we ask that you do not bring anyone to your appointment unless you need special assistance. If someone does need special assistance we will have you help the patient to the room and then we will ask you to wait in the waiting room or in your car and we will come and get you when we are done with the patient. There are no longer chairs in the operatories for loved ones or caregivers to sit in. If it is hygiene patients that are coming together the patient not being seen will need to wait in the waiting room or their car as well. Please remember that we have had to remove all of our magazines from the waiting room so if you do need to wait on a patient please bring your own reading material.
5. During this time period our office will be colder than normal due to the extra protective equipment we will need to wear, if you tend to get cold or think you might get cold please bring your own blanket or jacket to use in our office. We will no longer be able to supply blankets in each operatory.
6. For our restorative and hygiene patients we will now require you to swish with Listerine for 30 seconds before we start your appointment.

We are sorry for any inconvenience these new practices might cause but please bear with us because it is new to us and we are having to comply with new regulations at this time and we are unsure of how long we will need to take all of these steps.
Also know that the decision to have dental work done at this time is still up to you and if you are elderly or immunocompromised and don't feel comfortable at this point please let us know and we will respect your wishes. If you become sick the day of your appointment please contact us immediately to reschedule your appointment so that we can open up the availability to the next patient on the list.

We are thankful to Drummond Community Bank and Ben Lott for continuing to support small business owners like us in our community. Thanks to them we were able receive our SBA loan to continue to pay our employees and keep our doors open during this pandemic to help with dental emergencies for our patients.

As of March 20th we were shut down by the Governor to see patients except if you have an emergency which includes pain or infection. This will be in effect until May 8th. We will start by opening emergency hours Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm for patients that have seen us within the last 12 months. If you have an emergency after hours and you are a patient of record please call us at (352)614-7086. We are sorry about any inconvenience this has cause but this is out of our control.

We are continuing to see patients during our normal business hours Monday through Thursday 8:30 to 5. We are taking the necessary precautions to keep our waiting room and operatories safe and clean for patients and staff. We ask that if you are running a fever or feeling under the weather that you please reschedule your appointment to a later date.
