There are no tears in Heaven

In humble submission to the Will of God, the management and staff of Sunset Memorial Chapel, Inc. sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Mr. Joe McKinley Wheeler, age 75, of Sylacauga, AL. On Friday, May 27, 2022, while in the serenity and comfort of Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama, surrounded by his loving & caring family, God dispatched the Angel of Death to relay a message to Joe, saying "I see your road is rough, and the hill is getting too steep. Come rest your head upon My breast, your soul I will keep."
A Celebration of his life will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. His mortal frame will lie in repose of his eternal crib for a walk through viewing Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 2-5 pm in the Sunset Chapel of Remembrance.
