⚠️Attention⚠️ Friends, it is that time of year again! It's hard to believe! Please be guided by the information below.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

Last year, we tested out a new sign-up system and it worked beautifully. This year, we will be using the same system. A problem we had was that a few people came in, scanned the QR code, and left and filled out the form online at home.

We encourage you to fill out the form online on your phone or mobile device, but we need you to do that here in the building so that we can verify your information and get you your time slot. If you come in and scan the QR code, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE. ALSO, DO NOT SEND QR CODE OR PICTURES OF THE CODE TO OTHERS. ANYONE MUST BE PRESENT IN THE BUILDING.

Once you fill out the form on your phone, you will need to wait for your name to be called so that your sign-up can be completed. IF YOU LEAVE, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE PROGRAM. We will not chase you down. We are trying to serve as many families as possible, and our time will be devoted to those who have completed the process. (We will make exceptions for emergencies. Please make us aware.)

When you come to sign up, if you choose to meet with one of us in person and sign up that way, that is also perfectly fine. There will be staff and volunteers available to help with any questions you might have. We want this process to be as easy as possible.

Please know the sizes for your children, and please also know their 3 wish list items.

We unfortunately don’t have the time needed to wait while you make phone calls to other guardians. We want to get you signed up so you can go about your day, and we can tend to another family. It is not fair for those who came prepared to wait on you. PLEASE BE CURTEOUS AND CONSIDERATE & COME PREPARED

We understand times are hard right now, but please do not attempt to sign up with more than one agency. We aim to serve as many families as possible, and when someone signs up through multiple agencies, it takes away from another family in need.

If you are caught signing up with another agency for toys, you will be taken off the list and will be ineligible for toys this year.
If you are caught after receiving the toys, then you will be unable to sign up with us next year. We hope you can understand.

🌟 Staff Spotlight 🌟

If you’ve ever called or walked into Serenity Wellness Center, chances are you’ve already met the one and only Christy Holbert.

As our Office Manager/Receptionist — and an essential part of Serenity’s backbone, Christy is the first face (and voice!) clients see. But she’s not just holding down the front desk — she brings knowledge, energy, and a whole lot of personality to the job. 💥

With certifications as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), Christy is equipped to support our clients with compassion, understanding, and a sharp eye for detail. She keeps the flow of the day in check, even when things get chaotic, and she does it all with sass and heart.

When she’s not holding it down at Serenity, Christy loves spending time with her family and getting a little mud on the tires — off-roading is one of her favorite ways to unwind! 🛻💨

We’re beyond thankful for Christy’s fiery spirit, loyal heart, and the countless ways she supports our staff and clients every single day.

For the past 15 years, Christina Little has dedicated her career to helping others heal — and we’re so proud to have her on the Serenity Wellness Center team!

With a background in pediatrics, long-term care/dementia, and nearly 4 years in mental health and addiction services, Christina brings experience, empathy, and a fierce commitment to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use.

She holds an Associate of Applied Science from the University of Rio Grande and is credentialed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS), and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA). Whether she’s supporting a client through recovery or keeping the team in line with her “bossy” but lovable energy — Christina is all heart.

Outside of work, you can find her enjoying music and singing, casting a fishing line, or spending time with friends and family. 💚

Three years ago, we took a leap of faith and opened our doors with one mission: to bring healing, support, and real change to our community. What started as a small team and a big dream has grown into something so much bigger… and we’re just getting started!

Today isn’t just our anniversary — it’s also the day we officially go live with our new EHR system! This change is a big deal for us, and it’s happening because we’ve grown. We needed something that could keep up with where we’re going, and this new system will help us serve you better than ever.

✨ If you’re a current client, please be on the look out for an email invite to the new portal. This is where you’ll manage appointments, complete paperwork, and stay connected.

Today, we’re proud to highlight Brittany Fooce, one of the inspiring team members at Serenity Wellness Center!

Sober since 2019 and working in the recovery field since 2020, Brittany brings a powerful combination of personal experience and professional expertise to her work. She holds certifications as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) and Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS), and she’s currently pursuing her associate degree in Human Services with plans to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

Brittany is deeply passionate about walking alongside others in recovery—offering empathy, guidance, and the unique perspective of someone who truly understands the journey.

Outside of Serenity, Brittany is active in recovery and street ministry, involved in her church, and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

We are grateful to have Brittany as part of our Serenity family and thankful for the impact she makes every day! 💙

Please join us in welcoming Danielle Roberts to the Serenity Wellness Center team! Danielle has been working in the social work field since 2013, bringing a wealth of experience and compassion to our clients.

Throughout her career, Danielle has supported individuals in many areas, including inpatient substance use treatment, recovery services, long-term care, dementia care, hospice, and crisis services. She holds credentials in Dementia Care Training and even ran a dementia care unit in a nursing home setting. Most recently, she worked as an Emergency Services Coordinator with SPVMHC in Highland County, serving individuals in both hospital and jail settings.

Danielle describes herself as empathetic, dedicated, and passionate about being someone clients can turn to, especially during times of crisis.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old son, listening to live music, fishing, swimming, exploring nature, and making memories with her family.

We are so excited to have Danielle on board and look forward to the incredible support she will provide to our community! 💙
