So proud of our team for taking steps to serve those who have served us, and to do it well.

We’re proud to share that our Central and Southern Ohio Hospice team has achieved Level One Partner status with the We Honor Veterans program!

This partnership helps us see through the eyes of those who served, bringing awareness to their unique challenges, shaping how we care for and walk with them at every step of their journey.

And while this recognition is for Hospice, we believe so deeply in its mission that we've already made it part of our culture across all service lines—from senior living to affordable housing.

Because honoring Veterans isn’t just a program. It’s who we are.

This commitment shows up in many ways: providing housing to chronically homeless vets, connecting them with resources and benefits they are entitled to, supporting their transition from nursing homes back into the community, and caring for their health needs.

Here’s to serving those who have served us, today and always.

We took a moment to recognize our incredible HH team. The heart of our mission is people, those we serve and those who help. From our liaisons, intake, clinical teams, and the many people who represent our support staff - THANK YOU!

Their dedication has not only helped us reach important care milestones but also makes a positive impact while in the home with our families and caregivers. From the first call, to every follow-up, they bring expertise, a warm smile ,and a genuine love for what they do.

We’re especially proud to see their hard work reflected in the trust our patients place in us — and yes, we’re celebrating a few important goals too!

Here's to a team that leads with heart and excellence follows. Thank you for all you do

September 11, 2001 is a day that changed our nation forever.

We all remember where we were when the news broke, when the images of the Twin Towers filled our screens, and when life as we knew it stood still. We remember the loss, the fear, the heartbreak.

But we also remember what rose out of the ashes: courage, sacrifice, and unity.

Each year, Patriot Day calls us not only to recall the events but to carry forward the spirit of resilience and compassion that defined us in the aftermath.

We honor those we lost, those who served, and those who still bear the scars of that day. And we remind ourselves of the promise we made: to stand together, to support one another, and to choose hope in the face of hardship.

Today, we remember. We pray. We support. We heal.

We Walk for a World Without Alzheimer’s 💜

This year, we're proud to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in 3 walks. Every step we take brings us closer to a future without this devastating disease.

We walk to honor the memories, support the fighters, and celebrate the caregivers. This cause is personal, and we’re walking with purpose and hope for the families we serve.

Join us, support us, WALK with us! Below are three walk dates we have planned.
Hope to see you there đź’ś

Bristol Village- September 19th

Go team go!

Three of our own completed the LeadingAge Ohio Leadership Academy this week! This is a journey that challenges participants to sharpen their skills, build connections, and reimagine what leadership in aging services can look like.

👏 Congratulations to Benjamin Mounts, Kyle Schmidlapp (Lincoln Village), and Brandy Christiansen (Portage Trail Village) for stepping into this opportunity with passion and purpose. We’re also proud to recognize Denise Anderson, who helps shape the academy experience as a member of the design team and mentor—guiding the next generation of leaders in aging services.

Leadership isn’t just about holding a title. It’s about creating spaces where residents, families, and team members can thrive. We’re excited to see how each of you will carry forward what you’ve learned into the communities you serve every day.

Love supporting our communities!

A compassionate team that goes above and beyond to serve our patients and families well.

What does it take to support those living with dementia? For us, it starts with education, empathy, and a commitment to grow every day.

We’re proud to celebrate ten of our team members who earned certifications from Positive Approach to Care (PAC); a nationally recognized program founded by dementia care expert Teepa Snow. PAC training builds real-world skills to improve communication, reduce stress, and deepen trust with those experiencing cognitive change.

🎓 Here’s who earned their PAC credentials: Champion Teachers: Tom Bosley, Brian Goldstein, Sally Kolcun, Christina Leith, Stephanie Williams; Coaches: Jessica DiBari, Danielle Lamar, Demi Nega, Cammy Sagraves; Trainer: Areasa Owens.

These aren’t just certifications, they’re tools for stronger human connection.
