A Brief History on World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling
World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling started in September of 1977 the first event was held in Hallsville Ohio at the Indian Summer Festival, the card included Killer JD Kent, Hank and Roger Vest, Smilin Jimmy Watson, Cowboy Don Gillum, The Masked German Terror and Doctor Diabolical, it was created by the father and son promoting duo of James A. and James F. (Bobby Fulton) Hines. While James F. would go on to perform for multiple major organizations such as the then WWF, NWA, WCW, Mid South, UWF, WCCW, Stampede Wrestling, All Japan and others, James A. would continue to promote events. During the 1990s World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling would bring in the following stars and more: Matt “Doink the Clown” Borne, Jake Roberts, Junkyard Dog, Abdullah the Butcher, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, New Jack, Wahoo McDaniel, Ivan Koloff, Jackie Fulton aka George Hines/ The Eagle, Bambi, Buddy Landell, The Hardy Boys (Matt and Jeff), Tommy “Wildfire” Rich and Jim Cornette. World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling would bring wrestling events to Circleville as well as different schools and county fairs and festivals in Ohio and North Carolina. In the mid-2000s World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling would present events in Circleville as well as different county fairs and festivals in Ohio and North Carolina which would feature stars such as Abdullah the Butcher, Shark Boy, Jake Roberts, Bobby Fulton, Tom Pritchard, Jackie Fargo, Buff Bagwell, Ricky Morton, Al Snow, AJ Styles, Madison Rayne, George South and others. In the mid to late 2010s World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling would start promoting more of a full time schedule like the schedule during the 90s, which would feature stars such as Sting, Demolition Ax, Ricky Morton, Buff Bagwell, Jimmy Valiant, Tatanka, Shane Douglas and more. World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling has been established throughout many different states for 40 years and will continue for hopefully another 40 or more years! It is currently ran by the professional wrestling promoting duo of James F. and Dillon Hines, Dillon is continuing the long family tradition of promoting great quality, professional, family-friendly, action packed, wrestling events for a affordable price.
