The Center is designed to help students become more independent and manage their educational plan as well as participate in project based learning incorporating service learning opportunities. TLC offers students the opportunity to learn in a small personal setting while addressing behavioral and social-emotional concerns through counseling services, career transition services, academic support an
d enhanced individualized instruction. Students are encouraged to choose their schedule and develop both personal and academic goals each day that will allow them to successfully return to the high school setting. Our goal is for students to receive their high school diploma and be college/career ready when they graduate. Our staff include: Academic Instructors: Tammy Price, Diana Holcer, and Janice Shaffer; Para Professional for the Missouri Options Program: Sue Bachman and Counselor: Janna Ingram. We encourage the involvement of community, parents and students in a partnership for success in the alternative setting. Through this partnership we can continue to help students navigate the path from high school to a successful career.
