In honor of Black History Month, we celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of Harriet Tubman — a woman of courage, compassion, and unwavering strength--

🫶While many know her as a famed conductor of the Underground Railroad, Tubman also served as a nurse during the Civil War. She traveled to South Carolina to care for sick and wounded Black soldiers and newly liberated men, women, and children. Her commitment to healing and service did not end with the war.🩺

In 1908, she opened the Harriet Tubman Home for the Aged, where she lovingly cared for elderly and indigent African Americans until her passing in 1913.🎖️

This Black History Month, we honor her legacy — not only as a freedom fighter, but as a caregiver whose compassion changed lives. ❤️
