We are so grateful for the love and support our community continues to show The GAP House! đź’ś We wanted to share that we have updated our donation registry to make it easier for anyone who feels called to support us in this way.

We love and appreciate the support, encouragement, and generosity our community continues to show us. ❤️ However, for the safety, structure, and peace of our home, we are now kindly asking that no one stop by the GAP House unannounced.

If you have questions, donations, volunteering inquiries, or would like to visit, please call ahead to make an appointment. This allows us to serve you better while also protecting the privacy and recovery journey of the women in our care.

At The GAP House, we’re always looking for creative ways to sustain our ministry and bless our community. We’re seeking anyone willing to teach us a craft, skill, or trade that we can turn into a micro-enterprise to help raise funds at events.

Whether it’s baking, candle-making, sewing, jewelry, woodworking, or something unique—your knowledge could help us create something beautiful and meaningful to support the women in our recovery home.

We’re looking for a strong helping hand (or two!) to assist with some tasks around the GAP House that require extra muscle — things like moving large pieces of furniture, hanging heavy picture frames, putting together an L-shaped desk, and taking apart a piece of workout equipment to bring to Abba House.

Community, we need your help! 🙏

If you feel led, we’re looking for someone to help purchase an area rug for our Prayer Closet at The GAP House. This space is being prepared as a peaceful place for the ladies to meet with God, and we’d love to have something soft and comfortable for them to kneel on at the altar.

We found the perfect rug at Midtown Grocery on 720 Elm St for $25 and we’d be so grateful for any support to help make this special space complete.

💨 Urgent Need: A/C is Out at The GAP House 🧊

The air conditioning at The GAP House has stopped working, and with this summer heat, we need help getting it repaired as soon as possible!

Although we haven’t officially opened yet, our House Mother, Staciah, is currently living there, and staff and volunteers are working in the home throughout the week to prepare for opening day.

If you know a reliable HVAC technician, or would be willing to donate toward the cost of repairs, we would be so grateful.
