Next week we are planning big for the farmers market and we can't wait!!!

August 3rd -9th is National Farmers Market Week and we are celebrating on TUESDAY, AUGUST 5TH!

It is the moment in the season to stop and celebrate all things farmers market -- the bountiful land that we live in, the farmers that care for the land and animals, the dedicated business owners that show up every week, the community that consistently shows up and supports, the kiddos that are learning about fresh food, and so much more!!

There is so much to celebrate and so we are planning a night of fun -- Mayor Phillips will even be there to say a few words at the beginning! So make sure to check out the fun and stop by next week!!

Food:
- CFTbistro -- they are back (!!!) with local food and we are so excited to have them!
- Duck Donuts -- Your favorite -- serving up specialty donuts all night long!

Live Music:
- Jared Evan’s -- it's his last market with us, so bring a chair and stay for a while!!

- Card making for our farmers market vendors
- Tattoos, stickers, free market bags from Rowan Food & Farm Network, and giveaways!!

At next week’s Summer Worship Night, we’ll also feature friends, James Morgan and Braxdon Russ.

Our next Summer Worship Night is NEXT Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30pm. We’ll have truck on site, so feel free to grab an early dinner at Thai Tair, or even bring your own, but definitely make plans to cool off with a refreshing ice cream, Philadelphia ice or smoothie treat!

We will feature not one, not two, but THREE local worship leaders this night. First up is Teesha Cole (we’ll share the other two later today). In her words…

“Hey y’all! My name is Teesha Cole. I’m a Singer/songwriter and Praise and Worship leader, from Salisbury, NC.

I’ve had a passion for music and singing my whole life, but I didn’t always sing for the Lord. God has been so very good and faithful to me, so I vowed I’d sing for Him and to Him the rest of my days.

I look forward to an evening of good weather, food, friends and the Holy Spirit ministering His peace, hope and restoration to all who need it... through our praise.
