Hi yogis!

It’s Roxie from the Chincoteague Yoga Collective. I’ll be filling in for Lisa this Weds. Aug 5th at 6 pm at Robert Reed Downtown Park. I’m excited to be teaching again on the island and to be guiding you through your practice. ☺️ Class will be all levels!

Please bring your own mat and props and maintain 6 ft apart. Hope to see you on the mat again!

Save the date!!

Brittany and I are hosting a special yoga class on Saturday, March 7 at the Island Community House! The class will be a 60 min yoga class and a 30 min sound bath during Savasana. 💓 Join us for a fun, relaxing, and rejuvenating night filled with good energy and beautiful sounds! 🎶 There will be a $20 drop-in fee.

Calling all Chincoteague Island Yogis! Brittany Colona and I have teamed up to offer you a special class this March! Join us on Sat. March 7 from 6-7:30 pm at the Island Community House for a 60 minute yoga class followed by a 30 minute sound bath during Savasana. 💛

A sound bath is a relaxing and beautiful meditation experience where you “bathe” in sound waves and vibrations produced by singing bowls. Join us for a rejuvenating yoga and sound experience! ✨🎶

This class will be ALL LEVELS, beginners welcome. Mats, blocks, blankets, and straps provided if needed!

Postures that I love to incorporate in my physical yoga practice are heart openers. Heart openers expand the chest and rib cage which benefit your posture and breathing. These postures also support a healthy spine, release negative feelings and emotions, and promote anatomical balance.

Join me on Monday, Feb. 10 at the Island Community House @ 5:45 pm for a heart opening inspired practice. The intention will be focused on cultivating more love, gratitude, and joy.

Class will be all levels, beginners welcome. $10 drop in!

Utkata Konasana, or goddess pose, strengthens the entire lower body, including the glutes, hips, thighs, calves, and ankles. It opens the hips and chest, stretches the thighs, and elongates the spine. Goddess Pose helps to warm and energize the whole body. It improves balance, focus, and concentration. What is your intention for the new year?

My intention for 2020 is taking more time for self-care. Did you know that a regular yoga practice is a perfect way to incorporate more self-care into your routine? This means setting aside time for yourself once or twice a week to breathe, restore, and practice mindfulness to let go of your stresses or worries from the day. No matter what, you deserve to feel your best! Make this the year that you create a positive habit that benefits your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. ❤️

Looking to begin your yoga practice? I will be teaching every Monday at 5:45 pm throughout the months of January and February at the Island Community House on Chincoteague. All levels are welcome, beginner friendly! ❤️ Mats, blocks, blankets, and straps provided if needed. Suggested donation of $10.
