During labor, your doula takes care of all of the little things that will help you have a birth you can feel great about. Here’s just some of what I do during labor support:

✨ Continuous physical and emotional support: A big factor in a successful labor is the ability to relax and stay calm. I’ll help you do this by being by your side for each step, providing physical support like hip squeezes and position changes, as well as emotional support like addressing your fears and working through anxiety.

✨Creating a safe space: Your labor will progress faster when you feel safe and supported. This means creating an environment that you can truly relax in, with people that you feel truly supported by! We’ll talk about this during our prenatal meetings, and then when the big day comes, I’ll help you put our plan into action.

✨ Support for partners: Your partner is probably your biggest birth support, and I’m here to support them! During labor, I’ll give them tips and tricks to allow them to be as involved as possible, all while making sure they’re up to date and informed on everything that’s going on and providing them emotional support, too.
