Canyon Ridge Hospital is a freestanding mental health hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient care to adolescents, adults and older adults.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 106-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents, adults, and seniors. Mission:

Professional Leadership
The hospital’s clinical team is composed of five full-time psy

chiatrists. Staff includes licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, registered nurses, dieticians, MFT’s (Marriage & Family Therapist), group therapists, licensed psychiatric technicians, and others who are committed to providing the highest quality treatment and care to patients and their families. Assessment and Referral
Canyon Ridge Hospital offers free assessment and referrals 24 hours a day, seven days a week by appointment. Assessment and Referral is a free community service offered to anyone regardless of insurance coverage or whether treatment is ultimately received at Canyon Ridge. We also offer free Mobile Assessment Services 24 hours a day, seven days week within San Bernardino County. Inpatient
The hospital provides acute treatment services to adolescents ages 13 to 17 and to adults and seniors 18 years and older. Dual diagnosis is available on all units for those with concurrent substance abuse. Outpatient
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is designed as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization. The PHP program provides structured and personalized therapy for those individuals not requiring inpatient care. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is offered for both chemical dependency and mental health issues. IOP provides services to clients in need of further stabilization who do not require the structure of a full day treatment program. Canyon Ridge Hospital does not provide emergency services. Insurance
Canyon Ridge Hospital is contracted for services with most major insurance companies: PPOs, HMOs, Kaiser, Medicare, and Medi-Cal (ages 13-20 & 65+). For more information, call (909) 590-3700. Physicians are on the medical staff of Canyon Ridge Hospital, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Canyon Ridge Hospital. On Wednesday, May 28, we had the honor of celebrating First Light Armored Reconnaissance (LAR) Battalion’s 40th anniversary. First LAR often serves as the “tip of the spear” and is the first to fight on our nation’s behalf.

On May 24, 2025, we will proudly celebrate the two-year anniversary of our Patriot Support Program. Dorina Cioc, our Chief Operations Officer, says, “Our hospital has supported active-duty service members, veterans, and their families for many years. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by the military community, we developed a dedicated program to address their specific behavioral health needs… we launched the Patriot Support Program on May 24, 2023, and introduced the 28-day Road to Recovery program in April 2024. We are incredibly proud of our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering safe, specialized, and compassionate care. It is both our mission and our honor to make a lasting impact on the military community we serve.”

We want to take a moment to recap our Hospital Week activities that staff participated in. At the beginning of the week, staff were served delicious muffins, followed up with nacho day. On Friday, staff got to wear their favorite baseball jerseys!

We are proud to announce our Adolescent Summer Day Treatment Program which will be running from May 26 through June 27 and June 30 through Aug. 1. Programming will take place between 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

We recently organized a barbeque event specifically for our outpatients. Not only was an array of great food served but our patients also had the wonderful opportunity to engage in some fun and interactive games. Fun was had by all!
