We have five adorable Cochin roosters looking for a new flock! These boys were hatched in late February, and we ended up with more roosters than hens. We have four black and one with grey with black mix.

We are packaging all of our new dried powders, herbs, and spices for the shop and website 🫶

Do y’all vote YES or NO on using glass spice jars for packaging? I’m really leaning toward larger quantity options readily available.

I’m also thinking about expanding into more herbal supplements and wellness blends for the shop in place of only making them during custom orders. Drop your ideas below in the comments 👇

Someone at the nursery asked us, “Isn’t it a little late to be planting strawberries?” 🍓

Well friends, I believe it’s never too late to try. Just look at these sweet babies grow. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been pinching off the runners and flowers to encourage stronger leafy growth because the more healthy leaves the plant has, the more beautiful strawberries it can produce later on.

Only 3 weeks in and we’re already being blessed with an abundance of fruit… though honestly, most never make it inside the house because I snack on them straight from the garden. 😅

Moral of the story..

Follow where your heart leads you. Experiment in the garden. Learn as you grow and if something doesn’t work out the first time, plant again.

After a long day, this new bath salt blend was exactly what my soul needed. The calming and renewing feeling from this soak is truly something special. I decided to make a few single use batches for anyone wanting to experience a little moment of rest and reset for themselves.

Lovingly inspired through service and handcrafted by me with gratitude and intention. Feeling very blessed. 🙌

🌿 The Apothecary Fellowship Movement 🌿

Throughout Scripture, we find references to herbs, oils, spices, and the work of the apothecary. From the holy anointing oils of Exodus, to the frankincense and myrrh brought to Christ, to the leaves described in Revelation for the service of the nations, God has woven His creation into His story.

At Wild Roots Apothecary, we believe plants are one of God's many gifts to mankind. We do not place our faith in herbs, but in the Creator who made them. The garden was God's first classroom, and creation still points us back to His wisdom, provision, and care.

Our mission is simple:

✨ To honor God through stewardship of His creation.
✨ To encourage learning, fellowship, and community.
✨ To share traditional knowledge with humility and discernment.
✨ To inspire families to reconnect with the beauty of God's natural world.
✨ To build relationships rooted in faith, kindness, and service.

As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." We were never meant to walk alone. We learn together, grow together, and encourage one another through fellowship.
