Certainly, we recognize the medical professionals who devote their lives to caring for others – usually at a point in those lives when they are LEAST able to care for themselves. However, "caregiving" has MANY faces...parents caring for their children, neighbors & friends checking in on others, teachers supporting students, strangers demonstrating empathy, anyone bringing joy into someone's life! So, we only have one question on , are we caring for those who offer this care? And, if YOU are one of these caregivers, please make sure to give yourself that same level of care!

At one time, we heard "a woman's place is in the house," which evolved into a famous feminist meme with the tagline "...and, in the senate!" And, while we HAVE seen greater representation & equity in government roles, sadly this has not translated to other roles. Documented biases continue to be noted when it comes to the STEM fields...with girls still being directed toward more "ladylike" academic pursuits. So, for all those girls & women who choose a lab, instead of an apron, on this , we say, "You go, girl!"

Sadly though, those we often refer to as the "heart" of a home, family or team, face disparate care when it comes to heart health...WOMEN! Women care for their family, community, friends, co-workers, and even strangers, yet they also die disproportionately from heart disease! Show your care for those care for YOU, and sport a little rosy love for !
