Let's get real. Motherhood – whether to their own child, to a pet, to their friends, to their aging parents, to coworkers, to someone they mentor, or to any combination – is NOT for the weak! And, dedicating only a single day to honoring those who "mother" is obviously NOT enough! So, instead of giving them a nice card, a bouquet of flowers & maybe a fancy dinner at a restaurant, feeling like you fulfilled your obligation, EXTEND the appreciation for the rest of the year! Because children are cute, little humans, we can easily forget they are still PEOPLE... with big, sometimes messy, overwhelming, human feelings! And, they're trying to navigate all of those feelings while their minds & bodies are still developing. A pretty big job for little people – all while the adults in their lives tell them to "calm down... get over it... stop crying... be quiet... act like a big kid." Which means, too often we overlook the warning signs, and that one oversight can have tragic consequences! So please remind the kiddos in your life that you will ALWAYS listen & be there to support them, in honor of !

Yet, it's NOT selfish or a "luxury"...it's actually important health care! It's one of the vital steps to physical AND mental wellness, longevity & balance for your body.
