Our residents set sail on an 80-minute paddleboat excursion in beautiful Taylors Falls, and what a day it was!

With cool breezes, warm sunshine, and plenty of smiles, they cruised along the river while learning all about the fascinating history of the Dells and the stunning rock formations carved by time.

Nature, history, and great company — what more could you ask for?

A big thank you to Marlene for leading such a fun and creative craft session! The group had a great time and enjoyed a delicious Jello dessert with a crushed pretzel crust to top it off.

Mark your calendars! Marlene will be back in early October for her next class, where you'll get to make your own homemade greeting cards. You won’t want to miss it!

Our residents of Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights hit the road and headed to Target Field to cheer on the Minnesota Twins! From the crack of the bat to the roar of the crowd, it was a day full of fun, excitement, and timeless team spirit.

We're excited to announce the King and Queen of Point Pleasant Heights — Jack and DiAnn! Longtime neighbors and friends, Jack and DiAnn live just across the hall from one another and were nominated to represent our community in last Sunday's parade. They rode in style in a beautiful car, and it was a joyful day for all as we celebrated their friendship and cheered them on as they passed by our campus!

National Night Out on Tuesday was a huge success at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights and we’re still smiling about it!

It was an incredible evening filled with connection, fun, and community pride. We were honored to welcome the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, our Mayor, the LAPD, Chisago City Fire Department, and more!

The Belles of Point Pleasant brought the tunes, residents brought the delicious homemade treats, and our local businesses outdid themselves, donating over 50 door prizes for our residents. WOW!

The highlight of the night? The crowning of our King and Queen of PPH, Jack and Diann! You'll see them riding in style in a convertible during the Ki Chi Saga Days Grande Day Parade on Sunday, August 17.

A HUGE thank-you to all the amazing volunteers who made this night possible. This marks the 5th year of our PPH National Night Out and each year just gets better!

Our "S'mores & More" party was a big hit! We had a great time roasting marshmallows on the grill and enjoying our treats in the shade on this hot day. Elaine shared that she hadn’t had a s’more in over 30 years, what fun!

One of the beautiful things about living at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights is the way our community feels more like family. This week, we gathered to celebrate and support our dear friend Bevie, who is moving on to the next chapter of her journey.

Bevie has been part of our community for an incredible 19 years, and during that time, she’s touched many lives with her warmth, wit, and wisdom. While we’ll miss seeing her daily, we know she won’t be far, and our bond doesn’t end here. Plans to visit are already in the works!

We marked the occasion the way our community does best: with laughter, stories, a few lighthearted “roasts,” and of course, her favorite custard pie. It was a joyful reminder of the friendships and support that make this place so special.

We love you, Bevie, once a part of Point Pleasant Heights, always a part.

Our residents enjoyed a perfect summer day out on the lake yesterday, reeling in over 80 fish. They had a great time and even decided to keep and clean a few for supper.

Our June birthday celebration was a bright spot on a rainy day!

We enjoyed the wonderful music of Scott Beaumont, who took us on a nostalgic trip through the decades with classics like "Makin' Whoopee" (1928), "Mairzy Dotes" (1943), and "Howdy Doody Do’s & Don’ts" (1953).

And let’s not forget the cake—YUM! A delicious tiramisu layer cake topped off the celebration perfectly.

Today, 26 residents, family members, and team members gathered on the patio at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights for a meaningful hour of connection. We shared stories about ourselves and reflected on one special question: Who in your life has inspired you the most?

It was a touching time of reminiscing, laughter, and heartfelt memories. Through our stories, we discovered how much we have in common — and the beautiful thread that connects us all: our shared community here at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights.
