Now we will talk about a 3-track or 4-track skier. These skiers are using handhelds but longer than the sit-down units.

Next piece of equipment is the mono ski. A seat with 1 ski under seat and skied with handheld outriggers. This unit is designed to allow to someone to be independent at any resort. They can load and unload from the chair independently, ski down the hill independently and get up themselves. This pice of equipment will start at $6,000 and go up.

Let’s talk equipment! We will start with a bi-ski, it’s a sled with 2 ski’s under it for sliding on the snow. This equipment is a great starting point for students who have a weak gate, or can not walk. These units can be ski-ed in many different ways. One of those ways is by someone from behind holding onto the bucket and stirring it. Another way would be 2 little ski’s placed in the sides and someone from the back with tether’s (reins) to help stir it down or you can take the little ski’s off and put handheld outriggers (crutches with little ski’s) on the student and they start the turners. These pieces of equipment can range from $5,000 and go up from there.
